Always the highlight to my year. Yes we ski in Australia, and yes the snow isn't as amazing as the US or Japan, but its so much fun, i could never compare it to anything else. Even at the state championships a few weeks ago, my highlight was skiing down mount Perisher with my ipod blearing and the sun shining, straight lining it the whole way down though the slush. Its not appealing to most people, but there's something about skiing in Australia that just makes me happy. That moment when your favourite song comes on and you ski down the mountain rocking out to the music, thinking about nothing except that moment, that feeling is priceless. Don't get me wrong, Japan was heaven and the US will always have the best snow around, but the people in Australia make it all worthwhile. Amelia Cameron = my life. We share the same love of the snow, and it will always be that way. Mil, Laura and i always manage to have the best time ever in Threddas. The highlight was definitely year 9, 2010, with the whole lodge crew: Mil, Laura, Sam, Austin, Jakob and all the others :) We all had so much fun on that trip, chillin at the Hanenkahm, eating pizzas from T-bar, resting at the Merrits restaurant and snowball fighting in the street. In short it was AMAZING, and ill never forget it. Jakob is legit the coolest person EVVERRR, all us girls would obsess over him because he was Canadian and the best skier by far. You can never be perfect at skiing, there's always something you have to work on, and that's what i love about it, because you're always improving. I love the snow, skiing, boarding, sleeping, hot tubbing, pool playing, eating and everything associated with it. I love it.
