glebeing it

It couldn't have been a better start to the holidays.  Waking up at my usual 6:30am (due to the lack of blinds in my new room) we all caught a bus to Newtown, after a bit of a drama at the chemist.  The opp shops were the first destination.  Then we headed to the markets.  I LOVE GLEBE MARKETS.  They are amazing, and really unique, and we all found numerous items to buy.  My neck was extremely sore by the end of the day thanks to my camera. Christina and I left the group and walked all the way to the CBD> It didn't even seem like a trek because we were having so much fun.  Half of the time we decided to speak in French.  It was very basic but once we got the hang of it, we were so surprised how well we did.  I think its a great way to build up our confidence speaking french, for our exchanges.  We have to do it more often. Speaking french whilst walking the kilometres away in the rain was definitely a highlight of my day.
