1. READ, a lot. I have made a list of books to attempt to finish before the holidays end (with the help of my english class. God bless all those smart souls). I like to make lists because I can cross them off each time I have completed the task. This makes me happy.
1. Anna Karenina - Tolstoy
2. Lolita - Vladimir Nobakov
3. The Bell Jar - Silvia Plath
4. Atonement - Ian McEwan
5. Lady Chatterleys lover - D.H. Lawrence
6. To the Lighthouse - Virginia Woolf

2. buy clothes for my exchange. This is extremely important as I don't have any appropriate winter clothes at the moment. I know winter has only just finished, but it is so much colder in Europe, and let's face it, who wears really warm clothes in Sydney? I think I'm going to raid all the opp shops in Surry Hills and Glebe. This is because I have no job = no money, and I also love vintage clothes, they are beautiful and cheap.
3. Try to keep my new room tidy. I will admit, although I'm a reasonably organised person, my room does dot follow suit. Mumma Jude has made it clear to me that if I do not keep it organised and tidy, it will not be renovated like the rest of the house, "Now we don't want that, do we Sophie?". No we don't.
4. keep fit, be healthy. Yes all that typical shit, but I really do need to pick up my game a bit. I have not exercised since sickness rampaged my bod, but I can't use that as an excuse anymore. Fitness First here we come. I'll also go for more runs. I live next to a gorgeous beach, so I'll make the most of that! It's mango season once again, so I'm totally fine going on an all mango nothing else diet. Yeah, thats not going to happen, ever. I love my food but I shall try to eat BETTER not stop it all together.
5. Do things with people who I don't usually do things with. Its so nice receiving that phone call from someone who you haven't spent time with lately, so I have decided that I am going to be on the calling end of that conversation these holidays. I'll also spend ALL THE REST OF THE TIME with my n00b friends... you will see why they are n00bs in this video...
6. Study. Yes I left this till last because thats probably what I'm going to do these holidays. Exams are second week back. THANKS QWD I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU MAKING US STUDY IN THE HOLIDAYS! I don't know why I'm complaining because realistically I'm not going to be doing too much studying. Lucy came up with the idea of a study group, which i think is great, and I think I will schedule maybe an hour a day in the second week. Yes, I'll be in Bali, but I can study whilst sun-baking ;) The thing is, its year 10 and it doesn't actually count for anything. Of course I'll try my hardest, but I'm not going to freak out and have head down study for 3 weeks before exam, like every other exams I have gone through in high school. My goal was to get into top 10 again, but I think if I have a clear headspace and a relaxed attitude towards the exams I might do better than stressful cramming. If it doesn't work, I'll go back to my old routines next year. This is my relaxation trial and we will see how it goes.
Then again, looking at this picture I have realised something. I'm not going to be studying. Enough about study. I love holidays and no exam will change this. 2 weeks of freedom. What is better than that?
